So I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to New York City when I turned ten. Growing up here has made half my spine concrete and the other half full of magnolias and grits. I have a lot of dreams and with this life I was given I will work to accomplish them even to the last second breathing!  I AM A FOODIE! The only reason I probably love diverse cultures other than my own is because of all the different types of food!  I space out all the time, I love meeting new people and sharing stories. I talk more than the average person, which I am going to stop writing this bio because what was meant to be a paragraph would be twenty pages!

Celebrity choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson is kicking it high in these fly boots. The boots are Louboutin and start at 1200. She was spotted rocking these red boots as she left her interview with Wendy WIlliams on Tuesday morning. Laurie Ann is currently one of the judges on ABC’s Skating with the Stars.. I never really watched that show...   :-/

Ciara has a new CD ?!

Ok, so who knew ciara had a new CD out? I know if I didn't know you folks didn't know as well! Her CD came out on August 24th, and it's called "Basic Instinct" with nine tracks. I love me some Ciara, she's definitely the pre club mix that you put on when you're getting dressed. Her last CD "Evolution" did better than her first debut album. Basic Instinct's album sales are lower than her first and second albums, this album is going to need some major CPR. She has some great songs on the CD like, "Turn It Up (Heavy Rotation)" and "Speechless." Good PR people are hard to come by I tell you!!!! You can definitely make or break someones career. Ciara better be firing someone from her team, or restructuring it altogether! BET previously band her video "Ride" feat Ludacris. I think that might be the most promo she has EVER gotten on this new CD, what a shame.

We found our LIL Berri !!!!

Yayyy we have a new intern, and she's great! It took us around 3 weeks to find her, but it was well worth the wait. I hope you'll love her as much as we do. She will be posting an introduction soon.. soooo hyped!

"keep a child alive''

Alicia Keys "keep a child alive'' campaign was the reason some of our favorite celebs weren't on twitter, or Facebook for a week. Some people (including my self) didn't even miss them while they were gone! But this was all for a great cause, and I'm glad that they made their mark at 1 million dollars!! The campaign was very shocking, with participating celebrities shown in coffins. The stars where beautifully dead in the promo pictures, which also had some sceptics buzzing. I think the idea was harsh , AND necessary to achieve their goal. I kind of loved that I didn't have to see a tweet about a celeb having something stuck in their tooth, for a week.    I'm just saying.. .. :-/ 

Who got BEEF?!

Is the Queen back ?? It sure is looking like Lil Kim has dusted off her mic and is ready for battle. Nicki Minaj probably was expecting this unleashed fire from the Queen Bee. On an interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez Nicki went all the way in on Kim, saying she's a has been jealous sore loser. With that being said I'm sure when Lil Kim put out her diss track "Black Friday" it was expected. Kim's diss is good, with a great hook and punch lines. But it seems as tho Lil Kim isn't the only one ready for Ms. Minaj, Foxy Brown just put her diss track out. Apparently Nikki lied about a conversation between her and Foxy Brown. Foxy is now swigging back for a piece of the action! All this beef is starting to feel like a Promo Act... (side eye) I'm just saying.

KIM KIM!

GAGGG!! I just can’t get over how good Kimora Lee has been looking lately!! The baby weight looks like its finally gone and she looks amazing. Kimora was always a beautiful girl but there's something about a women that loves her some chocolate, yum! Her confidence is off the chain and I love that about her. Say what you want but this business women has it all, success, beauty, and a great family.

PYNKBERRI 2ND ANNUAL COAT DRIVE!

I'm so excited about our 2nd annual coat drive. The Pynkz have been very busy lately trying to get everything together. This year we are having an even better venue with a great DJ (DJ Physics). Gift Bags and Polaroid pictures are going to be available. The coat drive is going to be bigger than last year so I better see YOU there! This event is going to be on December 21 2010 from 6-10 at 310 lounge located at 310 Bowery St N.Y., NY. This word tends to mean more to me than anything else lately. I think 2010 has shown me a lot about my self , and my life as a whole. I've really turned up my creative side during these past few months. My new jewelry line is called "BitterSweet", and I'm really proud of it. Its become my new passion, and I'm going into it full force. No one can take this away from me, its mine even when life becomes BitterSweet.

Marsha is here to stay!

Marsha Ambrosius has been my rose pedals, and candle lights  muse since Floetry started. Something about her voice oozes sex, love and romance. Since her departure from Floetry Ive had to resort to her massive solo mix tapes. Now she's making a great come back to mainstream with her single "I hope she cheats on you with a Basketball player." ALL OF THAT?!--> YES that's what I said but the song is dope. Her voice continues to inspire me and put me in a hot place with, or without a hot man next to me. :-*

LOUD

OK so Rihanna has come back to the sassy bright young lady I once knew. Her new album "LOUD" is awesome. There are some tracks that are my uber favorite like "Man Down"and "Drink to that."While the whole album isn't a hit, its much more bright and happy then the russian roulette, black leather, fire bombs of "Rated R."

I give it 3 1/2 berries...

Im Backkkkkk !!

OK! So I've been on hiatus for a few months now but its time to jump right back into the things I love! You guys being one of them. So much has happen since my last post, both good and bad. I think I have a better understanding of who I am, and what I want to be. I'm not scared to just "jump out of the window" anymore. Embracing my flaws and loving my strengths are what I've chosen to do. Each new day brings the opportunity for help, wealth and strength. I'm human, I may fall and make mistakes but i'll do it all while blowing people away.

WE are on our WAY!!!

As some of you know my ultimate goal for Pynkberri is to turn this into an organization and adolescence center that helps young girls and promote community service. Well last week I was in a meeting with a wonderful high school in NYC and we are in the works to have a "girl pow wow!"It will be involving troubled teen girls in the school. As I try to mentor and pick these girls brains I will post their concerns and questions. I’m so excited to meet them and see if Pynkberri can make a difference in at least ONE girl’s life!

YEs I love me some "Poker face” every now and then and lady gaga really entertains me with her natural voice and insane outfits, BUT originality... I think NOT! I mean the truth is every new artist takes a little something from the artist archives and remixes them, but gaga isn’t one to remix -_-. She simply TAKES a little something from the artist archives and says it’s her own. At least give props to those that came before you. Even if the person wasn’t or isn’t as famous or high profile as you are now. Kelis was robbed as well and was then called a "GagaWannaBe"!?? Are we for real!! Female of the Month!

So we searched high and low to find the perfect female of the month and guess what!!!! We found her!!!! Christine Sharifian is a all around down-to-earth chick! She is super funny and very excited about life and is always positive.X-tine (as i call her :-x) has reached out to a wonderful organization that helps young people build a resume and focus on job skills. Currently she is a store manager at a awesome french high-end store in Soho (love that store!). Not to mention she has some beautiful jewelry pieces she makes her self. Its normal to not want to risk a friendship, this is a situation I know all too well. However in this situation you have to engage in a dual perspective. Would you want your "new boo" hanging out with his ex and she doesn't know that you guys have accelerated to another level? Although he is an ex there is still a considerable amount of feelings there, otherwise there wouldn't even be any hesitation on your part to tell him. I feel its not really necessary to tell him, but the real question is, would you feel the need to hide the ring in his presence? I think you should respond truthfully if asked don't volunteer information.
